BAMIN, 21 Feb: The Itanagar branch of the Punjab & Sind Bank organized a financial literacy camp at Bimin Michi village in Lower Subansiri district on Saturday.
The bank’s branch manager P Singsit, assistant manager Ngamjathan Mate and officials Sumit Kamlapuri and A Pongen apprised the villagers of various government schemes, such as the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, the Atal Pension Yojana, etc.
Diibo ZPM Bamin Gumbo exhorted the villagers to make full use of the programme and avail the various schemes provided by the government.
Several bank accounts were opened and five KCC applications were submitted during the camp.
