MIAO, 9 Apr: Miao ADC Sunny K Singh has ordered frequent checking of motor vehicles in order to prevent accidents as well as to curtail drunken driving in Miao subdivision of Changlang district.
The ADC has also ordered testing of alcohol level of drivers at every entry point of Miao subdivision on a regular basis with immediate effect.
“Any person found in contravention and violating the standard norms and procedures of MV Act will be liable for legal proceedings in accordance with the provisions of Motor Vehicle Act,” the order reads.
