PASIGHAT, 2 May: Health Minister Alo Libang flagged off a motorcycle rally, being organized as part of the Border Roads Organization’s (BRO) 61st raising day celebration, from Itanagar on Saturday.
After an overnight halt here in East Siang district, the motorcyclists proceeded towards Tuting and Mechuka in two separate groups on Sunday.
The BRO’s Project Brahmank Chief Engineer Padam Kumar, who flagged of the teams from the project headquarters here, said the rally is being organized with the dual purpose of celebrating the BRO’s raising day and creating awareness on Covid-19 and road safety rules.
The teams are expected to return here on 7 May. (DIPRO)
