ITANAGAR, 19 May: Condemning the Shi-Yomi deputy commissioner for recalling 10 posts of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC) under the district quota, the All Shi-Yomi District Students’ Union (ASYDSU) on Wednesday sought clarification from the DC.
In a press statement, the ASYDSU expressed resentment over the last minute corrigendum issued by the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) declaring the vacancies against the Shi-Yomi district as nil.
It was reported that Shi-Yomi Deputy Commissioner Mito Dirchi wrote a letter to the APSSB secretary on 12 May stating that requisition for vacancies of 10 posts of LDC (under direct recruitment quota of the district) was “sent mistakenly” and requested the board to “treat the vacancies of Shi-Yomi as nil.”
