ZIRO, 29 May: The internal quality assurance cell of St Claret College, Ziro here in Lower Subansiri district organized a two-day national webinar on “A vision for quality higher education through NEP-2020 and revised NAAC process’ from 28 to 29 May.
The webinar, which was organized in collaboration with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore, saw the participation of 90 academicians, research scholars, educational administrators and other stakeholders in higher education.
Addressing the inaugural function, RGU Vice Chancellor Prof Saket Kushwaha underlined the importance of NEP-2020 and the NAAC “in the present scenario of higher education in India.”
The webinar comprised four technical sessions. The first technical session focused on ‘Teaching-learning in higher education’, the second session was on ‘Research and publication ethics in pursuit of NEP-2020’, the third session dealt with ‘Best practices in higher education’, and the fourth technical session highlighted the ‘Revised NAAC assessment and accreditation process’.
Thirteen papers on various themes relevant to the webinar were presented during the programme.
