KHONSA, 16 Jun: Three persons were arrested by the police’s anti-drug squad (ADS) for peddling drugs in and around Khonsa town in Tirap district on Wednesday.
The ADS, led by SIs L Kimsing and O Rongrang, apprehended one C Rangyang with 0.30 gms of suspected brown sugar, besides two others, identified as N Bangsia and
L Hallang, with 2.75 gms of suspected brown sugar. One Pulsar-NS motorcycle was also seized from the duo.
Tirap SP Kardak Riba commended the ADS for the successful operation. He informed that the trio has been arrested under Section 21 (a) of the NDPS Act. (DIPRO)
