KHONSA, 4 Oct: A militant belonging to the NSCN (R) surrendered with arms and ammunition before the Tirap DC on Monday.
The militant, identified as self-styled private Telom Hangsik (25), of Old Kothung village in Lazu circle, surrendered before DC Taro Mize, the district police and the 6 Assam Rifles.
The surrendered militant deposited one pistol (.32), one live ammunition and magazine. He had joined the outfit in May 2017. (DIPRO)
