ITANAGAR, 17 Oct: At least 76 percent of the Arunachal’s population in the 18 years and above category have been vaccinated with the first dose of the Covid vaccine, and 48 percent have received both doses.
The ICR has achieved 83 percent vaccination coverage, Leparada has achieved 80 percent coverage and West Siang has achieved 77 percent coverage with both doses of the vaccine.
Kra Daadi has the lowest vaccination coverage of 10 percent.
Meanwhile, the state reported seven fresh Covid-19 cases on Sunday, of whom four are symptomatic.
The ICR reported four cases, Upper Siang reported two cases and Tawang reported one case.
With 40 percent, Upper Siang reported the highest positivity rate in the state.
Thirty-seven patients in various health facilities across the state were declared recovered or discharged on Sunday.
A total of 974 samples were collected from the entire state on the same day.
