NAMSING, 23 Oct: A training programme on organic garlic cultivation under the Atmanirbhar Krishi Yojana for the farmers of Namsing, Kongkul, Gadum and Mer villages was jointly conducted by Pasighat-based College of Horticulture & Forestry (CHF), the agriculture department and the Siang Organic Farming Society here in East Siang district on Saturday.
Around 40 farmers were imparted training on the ‘technical know-how of organic garlic cultivation’ by Dr Chandra Deo and Assistant Professor Tasso Yatung of the CHF. ADO Memo L Pertin also spoke.
Garlic seeds were also distributed to the farmers. (DIPRO)
