PASIGHAT, 16 Dec: A three days training on “Citrus cultivation practices for agro-climatic condition of Arunachal Pradesh” began at the College of Horticulture and Forestry, Central Agricultural University (CHF,CAU) here under East Siang district on Thursday.
A total of forty five farmers from Remi, Mikong, Bilat Mirem and Ledum villages of the district took part in the training which is implemented under CHF,CAU’s project ‘Arik Abik Lunom -Mobile Based Agro Advisory Services in Arunachal Pradesh’ in collaboration with Digital India Corporation (DIC) ministry of electronics and information technology (MeitY), GoI.
CHF, CAU dean Dr. B.N.Hazarika and principal investigator & course director Dr. S.K.Pattanaaik were also present on the occasion.
