DAPORIJO, 11 Feb: Upper Subansiri DC Mika Nyori advised the district’s KVK scientists to provide “linkage and channel” for marketing farm products and popularizing the local products of the district.
Addressing a meeting of the Scientific Advisory Committee here on Friday, the DC said that marketing linkage would help farmers get remunerative prices and make farming a “sustainable and economical enterprise.”
During the meeting, which was also attended by ICDS DD (in-charge) N Gusar, HoDs of line departments and progressive farmers, KVK Head (in-charge) Arvind Pratap apprised the members of the various extension activities being carried out by the KVK.
