ITANAGAR, 24 Feb: A day after the Arunachal Pradesh State Board of Examination (APSBE) cancelled the Class 8 social science examination on Wednesday, following the report of question papers having been leaked, Elementary Education Director and APSBE Chairman Otem Tayeng on Thursday informed that the Class 8 science question paper was also leaked on Thursday in West Kameng HQ Bomdila.
“This information was received by the state headquarters through WhatsApp at around 3:30 pm,” Tayeng said.
“The APSBE has decided not to evaluate the science paper of Class 8 APSBE 2021-22. The same paper will be re-conducted along with social science paper,” he informed.
The APSBE chairman has directed all the deputy directors of school education (DDSE) in the state to inform their students about this.
It is learnt that the education department has instructed conducting immediate inquiry into the leakage of the question papers.
