MARO, 25 Feb: The Upper Subansiri KVK conducted awareness programmes on ‘Formation and management of farmers-producers organization (FPO)’ at Digbak village on 22 February and at Kuporijo village on 25 February.
Around 106 farmers from both the villages, along with farmers from Belo and Lida villages, participated in the programme, which was funded by the NABARD Itanagar, with support from the Lower Subansiri NABARD DDM.
KVK scientists highlighted the role of FPOs in the development of farming in general and the activities of farmers in particular.
