ITANAGAR, 9 May: BSc forestry students of Pasighat (E/Siang)-based College of Horticulture & Forestry (CHF) were taken on an educational trip to the Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary and Nature Interpretation Centre in West Kameng district on Monday.
During the tour, Deputy Range Forest Officer LN Thongchi provided detailed information about the sanctuary and the nature interpretation centre.
The students were taught about the steps taken to protect endangered species, the diversity of flora and fauna, identification of different birds and butterflies, the Wildlife Protection Act, and identification of animals’ pug marks.
