SEPPA, 18 May: Nirbheek, a gym well equipped with physical fitness training equipments was inaugurated by minister for sports and youth affairs Mama Natung at the SP’s office here in East Kameng district on Wednesday.
East Kameng SP Rahul Gupta was also present on the occasion.
The objective of setting up of the gym is to keep the police personnel physically fit and stress free. It is in consonance with the Fit India Movement launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The foundation stone of the gym was laid by Chief Minister Pema Khandu in November last year and the construction has been completed in less than six months. DIPRO
