Centre striving to ensure Arunachal’s development: Khuba

PASIGHAT, 7 Jun: “The Centre is striving to ensure truest development of Arunachal Pradesh,” union Minister of State for New & Renewable Energy Bhagwanth Khuba said here on Tuesday.

Khuba was on a three-day visit to East Siang district.

While interacting with the beneficiaries of centrally-sponsored schemes at the DC’s office here, Khuba said that “the main objective of the government is to provide a more focused approach towards the integrated socioeconomic development of the most unprivileged section of the society.”

The union minister asked the implementing officers to “develop a spirit of collectiveness and belongingness when it comes to

implementing central schemes; undertake tours extensively, address people frequently, and adopt a rigorous working style to pass on the fruits of good governance to the people of the state.”

Earlier in the day, Khuba, accompanied by MLAs Kaling Moyong and Ninong Ering, DC Tayi Taggu, Chief Councillor Okiam Moyong Borang and HoDs, walked from the guesthouse to Medical Colony, via Gandhi School, and from the guesthouse to Mirmir Charali. The minister also visited the health & wellness centre in Berung. (DIPRO)
