ITANAGAR, 9 Jun: Hello FC defeated Doni Sporting Club by seven goals in the first match of the third day of the Capital Complex Dree Festival Celebration-2022 Football Tournament, in the open category.
Tapi Hakhe and Bamin Tadu scored three goals each, and Hibu Nobin chipped in with one goal.
Bamin Tadu of Hello FC was declared the ‘hero of the match’.
In the second match in the open category, Yapung Yaper FC defeated Iijang Nuri FC by 2-1 goals in a keenly contested match.
Dani Tam and Bullo Novin scored a goal each for Yapung Yaper FC, while the lone goal for Iijang Nuri FC was scored by Nending Tarung. Dani Tam was declared the ‘hero of the match’.
The third match, in the veteran category, was won by Ball Tulla X FC after defeating Paatw A FC by 3-0 goals.
The goals were scored by Duyu Taley, Nani Tamang Jose and Narang Gumbo. Taku Tapu was declared the ‘hero of the match’.
The last match of the day, in the veteran category, was an intense one between Khokhung FC and Hogya FC. The seesaw match ended in a draw (2-2), with both the teams sharing a point each. Koj Tatung of Khokhung FC was named the ‘hero of the match’.
