CHANGLANG, 17 Jun: Following the State Election Commission’s announcement of the panchayat bypolls, Changlang DC Sunny K Singh on Thursday issued an order prohibiting displaying or carrying of lethal weapons such as firearms, machetes, etc, in public places from 27 June to 20 July.
The DC issued another order, declaring certain days as ‘dry days’ during the course of the bypolls in Changlang and in Jairampur subdivision. (DIPRO)
