NAHARLAGUN, 1 Aug: Fourteen new junior auditors and inspectors of the cooperation department are undergoing a 10-day refresher course which began here on Monday.
Addressing the inaugural function, Cooperative Societies Registrar Tai Kaye advised the officers to be “interactive during the training session to upgrade the knowledge on cooperative audit and account parameter of cooperative societies.” He also exhorted the officers to be sincere, honest and upright.
Kaye later released the quarterly journal of the Arunachal Pradesh State Cooperative Union (APSCU), titled Cooperative Mirror – Arunachal Pradesh.
APSCU chairman Sushil Nalo, DRCS Gyati Kobing, and AP Consumers Cooperative Federation Ltd MD Mobam Riba also motivated the officers.
Dirang LAMPS MD Dani Tado, retired auditor AT Ghosh, CTC lecturer Hage Kobing, and Guwahati (Assam)-based Institute of Cooperative Management’s lecturer Nihar Sarma are the resource persons of the training programme.
