ITANAGAR, 8 Sep: NGO Karuna Trust organised a programme on enhancing Covid-19 vaccination in the state, at a city hotel here on Thursday.
During the programme, members of the Karuna Trust spoke about “the role and responsibility of prominent local leaders to create awareness on Covid-19 vaccination,” and ensuring that everyone is vaccinated.
They also made a presentation on the activities carried out by the Karuna Trust to spread awareness on Covid-19 in different parts of the state.
The chief minister’s adviser Tai Tagak, who attended the programme, asked the NGO to “focus on the capital region in creating awareness on Covid vaccination, as it is a thickly populated area because of migration of people from other districts who have either not been vaccinated or are not aware of the vaccination.”
All Arunachal Pradesh Panchayat Raj Parishad secretary-general Tadu Bayor, along with senior politicians, IMC members, and intellectuals also attended the programme.
