SHILLONG, 5 Oct: Dr B D Mishra on Tuesday took oath as the governor of Meghalaya in addition to his duties as the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh.
The senior most judge of the High Court of Meghalaya, Justice H S Thangkhiew administered the oath of office to the Governor at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan, Shillong.

Metbah Lyngdoh, ministers and MLAs, chief secretary, DGP and other senior officials were also present in the ceremony.
Mishra is the 22nd governor of Meghalaya. He succeeded Satya Pal Malik who completed his term as the Meghalaya governor on 3 October. (PRO to Governor)
