NEW DELHI, 11 Nov: The union government released two instalments of tax devolution, amounting to Rs 1,16,665 crore, to the state governments on Friday, as against the normal monthly devolution of Rs 58,333 crore.
The union finance ministry stated that the release of the instalments is in line with the commitment of the government of India to strengthen the hands of the states to accelerate their capital and developmental expenditure.
Arunachal Pradesh has received Rs 2,050 crore as its share.
