YINGKIONG, 22 Nov: A legal awareness programme on child-related Acts was conducted by the Upper Siang district child protection unit (DCPU) at the government town secondary school here on Tuesday.
Probation Officer Akoying Tekseng spoke on a range of issues affecting child rights. Awareness on the POCSO Act, the Juvenile Justice Act, and the Child Marriage Prohibition Act was imparted during the programme, which was attended by students, teachers, and members of the DCPU. (DIPRO)
