ITANAGAR, 11 Feb: Governor BD Mishra presented the Governor’s Citation to Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) Vice Chancellor Prof Saket Kushwaha “for his literary acumen, administrative competence and outstanding contribution in the transformative up-gradation of RGU,” at the Raj Bhavan here on Saturday.
Other faculty members of RGU whose names were cited for their good work and distinguished contributions were Economics Professor SK Nayak and English Professors B Nayak and PK Acharya, besides Dr KP Sing of the social studies department, Dr Miazi Hazam of the English department, and Ashok Barman and Subendu Mannan of the music department.
The governor also presented silver salvers to ITBP North Eastern Frontier HQ IG Shyam Mehrortra, the BRO’s Project Arunank Chief Engineer Brig Anirudh Singh Kanwar, and PTC Banderdewa Principal Neha Yadav for their commendable performance and professional competence. (DIPR)
