Through your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the attention of the authorities concerned regarding some lapses in the job recruitment process.
Of late, the APSSB has started to issue the annual calendar, but several exams were advertised earlier many years back but have yet not been conducted. One such advertisement is for head constable Tel and RT, which was initially published through the police headquarters vide advertisement No PHQ/PER-113/14, dated Itanagar, the 29th March 2018, and later by the APSSB vide File No APSSB/ADV-78/2020, dated 21/01/2020.
Moreover, there was a drought of job recruitment in the state for a decade, especially from 2010 to 2020, due to departmental irregularities and later the Covid-19 pandemic for a couple of years.
Now it is pertinent that the board should grant extra age relaxation of at least up to additional 5 years for fresh recruitment and some relief in PET/PST of exams to those aspirants who are of 30 years and above.
