ROING, 17 Nov: Jomin Tayeng Govt Model Degree College (JTGMDC) celebrated its 7th annual College Day on Thursday in the college campus here in Lower Dibang Valley district.
“The annual sports day was inaugurated with a cultural night titled ‘Young youth creative ideas’, which was declared open by Assistant Professor Dr Odol Pertin,” the college informed in a release.
At the valedictory function, Koronu ZPM Monti Linggi exhorted the students to “work hard and strive for a bright future, as this is the time to make a career ahead.”
Adi Cultural Literary Society general secretary Puinnyo Apum advised the students to “participate and excel in every field, like cultural, literary, and sports activities.” He added that the poor mobile network service in the college campus “affects the studies of the students and the staff of the college.”
LDV House emerged the champion, and Siang House was adjudged the ‘disciplined team’.
Jhon Ngupok was adjudged the best student of 2023, the college informed.
