ITANAGAR, 12 Feb: Union Earth Sciences Minister Kiren Rijiju on Monday distributed appointment letters to 23 youths, who have been recruited into various departments and ministries of the central government, during a Rozgar Mela held at the ITBP’s Northeast frontier headquarters here.
Congratulating the youths, Rijiju urged them to “contribute in the mission of making a developed India by 2047.”
“A lot of responsibility falls on those recruited today as they are the ones who will be shaping the nation in the next 25 years,” he said, and advised all to “work towards the common goal of making India a developed nation.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also joined the programme virtually and distributed more than one lakh appointment letters to newly inducted appointees in 46 locations across the country via videoconference.
“The PM also launched the online module on iGot Karmayogi portal by pressing the remote button,” the DIPR informed in a release.
“Rozgar melas are expected to leverage further employment generation, and provide gainful opportunities to the youths for their empowerment and direct participation in national development,” it said.
