DIRANG, 12 Feb: Forty youths here in West Kameng district completed a month-long free computer training programme, organised by the 30 Bn SSB here under its civic action programme, on Monday.
At the valedictory function, former SSB DIG Lham Thinley congratulated the youths and said, “This is a rare opportunity that very few get. It will definitely help you in excelling your expertise.”
He thanked the 30 Bn SSB “for providing such opportunities for the development of bordering population.”
30 Bn SSB Commandant Anil Kishor Yadav said, “One should be steadfast in what one has achieved. This being a basic course you have undergone, you must determine and focus on what you really want.”
30 Bn Deputy Commandant Chhote Lal also spoke.
Among others, GBs of Lish village, DIET faculty members, and members of Sonam Galaxy Computer Institute were present at the closing ceremony.
Certificates were later handed over to the youths.
