ITANAGAR, 11 Nov: The Himalayan University’s (HU) education department celebrated the National Education Day, themed ‘Education imparted by heart can bring revolution in the society’, on 11 November.
Speakers emphasised the importance of value-based education in transforming society and also highlighted the life and contributions of India’s first education minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.
Essay, slogan writing, and quiz competitions were organised, and winners were awarded certificates.
