NEW DELHI, 2 Jan: The Government of India has appointed a new director general of police (DGP) for Arunachal Pradesh.

Shiv Darshan Singh Jamwal has been transferred to Arunachal as the new DGP. At present, he is serving as the DGP of the union territory of Ladakh. The current DGP of Arunachal, Anand Mohan, has been transferred to Delhi. The Ministry of Home Affairs issued the transfer orders for these officers on Friday.
