ITANAGAR, 12 Feb: In continuation of its capacity-building and gradation initiative titled ‘Utkarsh Mahotsav’, the Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti (ASVS), in collaboration with Vidya Bharati Purvottar Kshetra, is conducting a three-day school inspection programme from 12 to 14 February across its institutions.

The ASVS is running 27 schools, including Vidya Niketans and KGBVs in Siang and East Siang districts, and EMRS Khela, with its presence in around 12 district headquarters of Arunachal Pradesh.

A five-member inspection team is visiting the schools in a unique ‘festival mode’ atmosphere, aimed at promoting institutional capacity-building and structured gradation. The five-member team comprises representatives from the school management committee, the principal, an alumni member, a senior teacher, and an educationalist. This composition ensures transparency, academic insight, and collective responsibility in the evaluation process.

As envisioned under Utkarsh Mahotsav-2026, the inspection focuses on systematic assessment and qualitative improvement of institutions. The evaluation includes academic standards, teaching-learning processes, administration, infrastructure, student performance, co-curricular activities, and institutional management.

This self-inspection model encourages schools to identify their strengths, address gaps, and move towards continuous improvement while fostering a healthy spirit of excellence. The initiative is expected to enhance professional competence of teachers, improve learning outcomes, and create a sustainable roadmap for institutional development in line with the objectives of Vidya Bharati.

Through this structured and festival-mode inspection, the ASVS aims to further strengthen the network of Vidya Bharati institutions in Arunachal and contribute meaningfully to nation-building through quality and value-oriented education.
