ROING, Dec 23: Bukkong Zilla Parishad Member (ZPM) Starson Saring on Friday distributed 180 solar lamps along with warm clothes during a special programme organised at his residence in Parbuk for the senior citizens, widows/widowers, orphans and differently-abled people of his block.
Saring, who has been organising such functions every year since his election as ZPM in 2015, said that the main objective of the programme is to honour the differently-abled, the orphans, the widows and the elderly people of the community.
Lower Dibang Valley DDSE, Ego Doye, lauded the initiative of the young ZPM and his continuous contributions towards the society.
Among others, DLO Victoria Panyang and DRDA PD Oling Lego attended the programme.
