Emphasis must be on sanitation and solid waste mgmt: CM
ITANAGAR, 27 Jan: Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Wednesday said that emphasis must be on sanitation and solid waste management under the Smart City Mission.
He was addressing a review meeting with Urban Development Minister Kamlung Mossang and Lok Sabha member Tapir Gao on the progress of the smart city project in the state.
While reviewing the works being undertaken under the Smart City Mission in Itanagar and Pasighat, the CM stressed the need for relying more on IT and electronics for transparency and improving efficiency across the administrative structure. He said that it would help in improving the quality of services to the citizens. (CMO)
