AVP’s ‘Seemant Darshan Yatra-2021’ concludes

ITANAGAR, 2 Feb: The Arunachal Vikas Parishad’s (AVP) ‘Seemant Darshan Yatra-2021’, which was flagged off from the Nyedar Namlo premises here on 22 January, concluded on 29 January with experience-sharing and submission of the tour report.

The tour covered 111 border villages under 25 administrative circles of 12 districts. The delegates interacted with 17 tribes and visited 35 security personnel camps.  On the occasion of republic day, the national flag was also hoisted in 41 border villages.

They conducted house-to-house visit and distributed photos of “Bharat Mata”, national flags, indigenous flags, immunity boosting ayurvedic kada powder among the villagers.

A total of 193 delegates from 16 tribes of Arunachal and different parts of the country, such as Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Tripura, Bihar, West Bengal and Assam took part in the tour.

The tour report was submitted in the AVP office here in the presence of AVP president Techi Gubin, based on which the AVP will further prepare a detailed report and submit it to the state and the central governments for necessary action for development of the border areas keeping in mind the national security.
