NAHARLAGUN, Jan 11: Twenty-seven trainees from Naharlagun-based Jan Shikshan Sansthan attended an awareness programme on ‘consumer rights and responsibilities’ conducted at the SRC conference hall here on Thursday by the Consumer Care Centre of the Oju Welfare Association.
During the programme, Senior Programme Coordinator, Anju Michi, explained various aspects of consumer rights, weights and measures, package commodities, product standardization, etc.
Special Adoption Agency Project Manager, Kunjolata Rajbanshi, spoke about misleading advertisements, discount sale, food adulteration, and such.
