ITANAGAR, Jan 16: Chief Minister Pema Khandu has announced ex gratia to the next of kin of a couple who died in a tragic vehicular accident at 5th Mile area near Bomdila in West Kameng district on 15 January.
The deceased husband and wife were identified as Krongi Ngoimu, a veterinary department driver, and Karmu Ngoimu alias Pem Droma, both from Dirang. They left behind two minor children.
While mourning the tragic death, Pema appealed to commuters and drivers alike to be extra cautious while driving on the curves of hilly terrains to avoid such unfortunate accidents.
