CHANGLANG, 17 Nov: A legal awareness programme on domestic violence, crime against women, drug abuse among youths and property rights in context of Arunachal Pradesh was conducted at Changlang headquarters by the Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW)
APSCW Chairperson Radhilu Chai Techi spoke on women and child rights, legal provisions for protection of women and children, with special emphasis on property rights for women in the context of Arunachal Pradesh.
APSCW Member Techi Hunmai spoke on the role of the commission and the legal outreach programmes conducted all over the state.
The programme was held in collaboration with the district administration, partner NGO Karuna Trust and ICDS Department amidst a mammoth gathering of CBOs, PRI Leaders, self-help groups, NGOs, gaon burahs, government officials and students.
