YUPIA, 29 Jun: Papum Pare (rural) administration has ordered the closure of all schools in the district till 2 July for safety and security of the students as heavy rains, landslides and flood continue to wreak havoc in the district.
As per the order issued by DC Sachin Rana, under section 33 of Disaster Management Act, 2005, all schools, including primary, pre-primary, upper primary, high school and higher secondary school within Papum Pare district will remain closed from 29 June to 2 July.
