YANGTE, 22 Dec: A new parish for Yangte and Tali circles of Kra Daadi district, named Mary Immaculate parish, was inaugurated here on Thursday.
The creation of the parish was an initiative of Itanagar bishop Rev John Kattrukudiyil, and Fr Jiwandan Majhi is the first priest of the parish.
Among others, former chief minister and Sagalee MLA Nabam Tuki, and former MP Takam Sanjoy were present at the inauguration.
