AALO, 9 Feb: West Siang DC Penga Tato on Thursday took stock of the remaining electric poles and water supply pipelines on the right of way (RoW) of NH 13 obstructing the work to widen the four-lane highway stretch in Aalo town.
The DC, who was accompanied by ADC Henkir Lollen, CO Tage Moonya, officers of the highway, PHE and power departments, former minister Doi Ado, representatives of TTC Infra India Ltd, and others, identified all the remaining utilities to be shifted from the RoW.
He instructed the department concerned to shift the remaining utilities at the earliest, in coordination with the contractor and all stakeholders, “to facilitate completion of the work
within this March as targeted by the contractor.”
The team also inspected the approach road to Old Market, Puak Gumin and the Yomgo river, which has been affected due to the construction of a retaining wall for widening the highway. (DIPRO)
