TEZU, 21 Jul: Lohit Deputy Commissioner Shashvat Saurabh reviewed the progress of institutional deliveries (ID), routine immunisation (RI), and preparation for the Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) and the UWIN rollout in the district during a district task force on immunisation meeting here on Friday.
The DC directed the DMO, the DRCHO, the DANO and the MOs to “make appropriate plans and strategies as per the schedule of the IMI to eliminate vaccine-preventable diseases, and improve the routine inoculation across the district, as well.”
While the district programme officer presented a brief on RI and the status of IDs in the district, the medical officers of Sunpura, Wakro, Loiliang and Tafragam highlighted the status of RI in their respective jurisdictions.
