ITANAGAR, 30 Jan: A cleanliness drive was organised at Mahatma Gandhi Park in Niti Vihar here by the Arunachal Pradesh unit of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) to mark the Martyrdom Day of Mahatma Gandhi on Thursday.
The event, led by state NSUI working president KT Apang, was aimed at honouring Mahatma Gandhi’s principles of cleanliness and community service. Volunteers, including NSUI members and residents of Itanagar, participated in cleaning the park and raising awareness about maintaining public spaces.
The participants ensured proper disposal of the collected waste, and pledged to continue working for the cleanliness and preservation of public spaces.
