I am writing to express my concern regarding the entry fee and maintenance of Polo Park in Naharlagun.
The entry fee is Rs 20. As a student who stays as a paying guest, sometimes I need fresh air to breathe, or to walk around there to feel the serenity of the nature, or to do some brisk walking or exercise in the park. I have a question for the authorities of the park: what are they doing with the fees paid by us?
Improper maintenance of hygiene and infrastructure inside the park has been noticed, such as no proper lights, no proper waste management, no proper washroom – everything is disappointing.
Therefore I request the local municipality to look into this issue.
