ITANAGAR, May 2: The Land Affected People’s Forum (LAPF) has in a representation to the chief minister on Wednesday, sought his early intervention into the matter regarding transfer of present incumbent deputy commissioner of Lower Subansiri district before completion of land acquisition process and disbursement of compensation to affected beneficiaries with regard to Joram to Koloriang road project.
The forum stated that the land acquisition process and disbursement of compensation to affected beneficiaries is presently underway with regards to construction of road project from Joram to Koloriang by the district administration and is in the final stage.
While terming the move to transfer the present DC an “interruption” to the smooth and speedy land acquisition process and compensation disbursement, it further appealed to the CM to direct the present DC to complete land acquisition and compensation process without any further delay.
