ITANAGAR, 3 Feb: The state’s ju-jitsu team showed an impressive performance, winning 51 medals, including 21 gold, 23 silver, and seven bronze medals, at the North East Ju-Jitsu Championship held in Guwahati, Assam.

They won the medals across ne-waza, fighting, contact, and duo-show events, the Arunachal Ju-Jitsu Association said in a release.

Langkung Adam won one gold medal each in ne-waza and contact, and one silver medal each in fighting and duo-show events.

Langkung Duta won a gold medal in contact, one silver medal each in duo-show and ne-waza, and one bronze medal in fighting, while Langkung Talo won a gold medal in fighting, one silver medal in ne-waza, and one bronze in contact.

Langkung Meyang won a gold medal in duo-show, and one silver medal each in ne-waza, fighting, and contact events.

Langkung Tayang won one gold medal each in contact and duo-show events, and one silver medal in fighting (ne-waza).

Dindo Nijar won one gold medal each in ne-waza and contact, and silver medals in fighting and duo-show.

Bengia Lingpe won one gold medal each in fighting and contact, and one silver medal in ne-waza.

Najen Homnyo won one gold medal each in ne-waza and contact events, and one silver medal in fighting.

Timso Pul won a gold medal each in newaza, fighting and contact events, while Tang Tada won a gold in ne-waza and silver in duo-show.

Dugi Lulu won a gold medal in contact, and silver medals in ne-waza, fighting and duo-show.

Dongda Taduk won a bronze in ne-waza, and one silver medal each in fighting and contact events.

Dobam Apang won a gold medal in fighting, and silver medals in duo-show and ne-waza, while Nich Tell won a bronze in fighting.

Byabang Roku Dui won a silver medal in duo-show, while Dindo Kiochik won a silver medal in fighting and bronze medals in contact and duo-show events.

Byabang Bhupai won a gold medal in ne-waza and bronze in duo-show.
