ITANAGAR, 10 Mar: The Himalayan University’s (HU) special education department, as part of the Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Awareness Month observation, organised a rally in the Jollang area near here to create awareness among students and community members about neurodevelopmental disabilities and the importance of early identification and intervention.

During the programme, the Head of the Department Mohd Ibraheem Khan highlighted the need for greater awareness and sensitisation regarding neurodevelopmental disabilities, so that individuals with such conditions can be identified early and provided with appropriate support and intervention.

The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation of the entire staff of the special education department, along with approximately 110 students, who actively took part in spreading awareness among the local community.
