NAHARLAGUN, May 9: The 7th Eagle Trophy Club Football Competition will be held in September in West Siang district, while the state Women’s League will be organized in July at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium here.
The decision was taken after a meeting with Parliamentary Secretary (Sports & Youth Affairs) Nyamar Karbak and members of the Eagle Club at the Directorate of Sports on Wednesday, informed Arunachal Pradesh Football Association (APFA).
When informed about the event calendar of APFA by its general secretary Kipa Ajay, Karbak assured to extend all possible help from his department for development of football and sports in general.
Director of Sports, Tadar Appa and Sports Authority of Arunachal Member Secretary Gumya Karbak were also present in the meeting.
