ITANAGAR, Jul 18: Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Dr BD Mishra, in his drive to conserve energy, felicitated Assistant Engineer Nabam Gamin, Junior Engineer Chukhu Juli and Senior Electrician N Bhattacharjee of Raj Bhavan Section, Capital Electrical Division for their sincere and result-oriented hard work in modifying the lighting system of the Raj Bhavan Road, which has led to energy and cost saving.
The governor, who is impressed by the innovation and quality of the job carried out by the officials of the Electrical department, presented commendation letters to them here at the Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.
The governor said that every unit of energy or electricity saved will help in providing electricity to others who need it.
Further, he called for generating energy saving awareness among people for the same and appealed to the citizens of state to contribute towards the energy conservation. (PRO)
