BALIJAN, Sep 3: Environment & Forests Minister Nabam Rebia has appealed to the youths to shoulder the responsibility of developing the society.
He said this while releasing a Hindi film, Son of Popum Poma, here on Sunday. The film has been directed by Techi Kene and produced by Panye Tapo.
Rebia said youths have a greater responsibility as the future lies in their hands. He said youths should not forget the legacy and the rich cultural heritage and tradition of the society which have been passed on from earlier generations.
Kene informed that the intention behind making the film was to “give due recognition to those who have served the people of area with utmost sincerity.”
Former All Popum Poma Students’ Union president Nabam Sina also spoke. Balijan ADC Tasso Gambo was also present.
