ITANAGAR, Sep 18: The Joint Working Committee of Arunachal Pradesh Trade Unions has appealed to the state government to enhance the pay scale/grade pay of the work-charged (WC) staffs in all the departments of the state.
In a representation to the chief secretary, the committee on Tuesday said the WC staffs working under various departments, especially engineering departments, are discriminated against by not having their pay grades enhanced.
“Being the civil servants, the work-charged staffs have also equal rights to avail special benefit granted by the state government,” the joint committee said.
